Booth's class P.E day will be on a Tuesday

Please can all children come into school wearing their P.E kit This uniform should consist of:

  • A white P.E top
  •  Tracksuit bottoms or shorts
  • A purple school jumper

Trainers or plimsolls

In year 1 we encourage you to read with your child/children 3 - 4 times a week. We do not expect you to read the whole book every evening, just a couple of pages will do to encourage fluency and comprehension.

We also encourage you to practice your child's sight words regularly the

aim of the sight words is to build up their reading fluency so these words need to be read without sounding out the words.

For any guidance on how to support your child's reading at home, please do not hesitate to ask the staff working in your child's class.
