Being Creative - Hedgehog Hands
For today's home learning, I would like you to get creative and create a hedgehog using your hand. The first thing you need to do is draw around you hand on either a piece of paper or card. Once you have done this you need to colour the fingers in the brown so that they look like the hedgehog's body, once you have done this you need to create the spikes on the hedgehog and you can do this is in lots of different ways either by painting them or drawing them on.
Once you have create the spikes, and the body you need to turn the rest in to the house, for this you need to colour it in a skin colour, ie pale yellow or a very light pink. Then you need to draw the face and the nose on to the hedgehog to make it look more realistic. The final thing you need to add on the face is a eye to complete the hedgehog.
I look forward to seeing your fantastic hedgehogs on Tapestry.
Maths - Different ways of making 10
For today's home learning for maths, you are going to be continuing to find different ways of making 10. I would like you to use of all you knowledge and learning that you have created to help you find different ways of making different numbers to help you find the different ways of making 10.
I would like you to show me how you found all the different ways of making 10, by writing the number sentences to show me how you made 10.
For example:
2 + 8 = 10
1 + 9 = 10
I look forward to seeing all the different ways of making 10 on Tapestry.
