Friday 17th July
Your final day of home learning from me! So, today, your reading is your own free choice.
You could use Reading Buddy or simply read a book of your own.
Today, I'd like you to take a look at some of the suggested learning activities for over the summer.
You can find them here:
Then, I'd like you to make a list of all the things you'd like to do over the summer.
You could split your list into school work and family activities.
You could split them into subject areas (maths, art, etc.).
Today, in maths, it's time to have some fun and test your knowledge of using co-ordinates.
Here is a treasure map:
What are the co-ordinates of these objects?
Write down what you can see at the co-ordinates given below:
Challenge: The words can be used in a special way to find the coordinates of the buried treasure. Can you work out where it is?
Topic - Transition
Setting goals is an excellent way for you to try and achieve things that you might not think is possible.
Goal setting will also help you to improve your confidence when you are able to start ticking off your achievements.
Today, I'd like you to create a ‘Wheel of Fortune’ (see below).
Use the headings:
- Physical Challenge
Under each heading, write a goal, thinking carefully about how long it will take to achieve, who or what can help you and any difficulties you may have to overcome.
