Monday 1st June
Welcome back to a strange second part of the summer term.
How are you? Did you have a lovely half term? I'd love to hear what you got up to. I've been on lots of walks and managed to complete more than 10,000 steps every day last week.
The online learning tab has been updated and there you will find all of the usual White Rose, Oak National Academy and BBC Bitesize learning. Why not try looking at their timetables for the week and creating a timetable for yourself of what you'd like to do and take part in? I know Oak National Academy have lots of different learning so you could broaden your knowledge around a topic you might not have learnt about before. Creating your own timetable encourages independence and enables you to manage your time, something you will need to learn ready for your move to the Academy.
I'll be setting fractions, decimals and percentages work on the class page so try to complete that everyday, it'll be great revision for you all.
If you need anything at all or you have any questions, complete a contact form and I'll call you back as soon as I can.
Have a great day!
Maths starter- Choose your challenge
Adding and Subtracting Fractions
Start with the first challenge and complete as many as you can from there.
Remember, when the denominators are the same, you just add or subtract the numerators. When the denominators are different, you need to make them the same before you can add or subtract the numerators.
