Summer Learning

It's time to prepare for Year 6 in September. We highly recommend practising key skills such as spelling, handwriting, times tables, reading and mental maths for at least ten minutes a day during the Summer holidays (or as often as you can). If children can recall spelling patterns and times tables, this will give them the tools they need to start successfully in Year 6.

The below links will take you to activities that you can do daily.

Our new project for the Autumn term is Frozen Kingdom. We will be learning about the Arctic and Antarctic, the people and animals that live there, explorers (such as Shackleton), Inuit art and developing our geography skills like maps, longitude and latitude.

Please spend time looking at and reading the information sheet below and exploring the links to do some extra research.
