Good morning everyone!
How are you today? Did you know that on this date in 1932 Amelia Earhart became the first woman to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean? There is a mystery surrounding Amelia Earhart, do you know what it is? If not, why don’t you do some research and see what you can find out.
Don’t forget about the daily lessons you can access if you would like to try something different. They’re great resources and would give you an opportunity practise skills you may have found tricky. Remember, if you need my help you can always send a message through the contact form. I’m happy to help in any way that I can.
Have a lovely day everyone!

Morning Work

Mental Health Awareness Week

To continue our kindness quest, today I would like for you to notice something kind that someone does for you and thank them for it. We see kindness in not only the grand gestures from other people, but in small day to day tasks. Did someone bring you a drink? Open the door for you? Help you with your school work? Let you choose a film to watch? Let them know that you appreciate their kindness.

Eid al-Fitr, also called the “Festival of Breaking the Fast,” is a Muslim holiday that marks the end of Ramadan. Eid begins the evening of May 23rd and ends the evening of May 24th.

Today you will learn all about Eid. There is a PowerPoint with tasks to complete and I’ve also added some recipes and a craft if you would like to try something different.
