Home Learning - Maths - Repeating Patterns
For today's Maths home learning, we are going to be continuing to work on repeating patterns. I would like you to go through Curly Caterpillar's repeating pattern power point and complete the different activities which are on the power point. Once you have completed the power point I would like to complete the stripy scarves repeating pattern sheet.
I have attached the power point and the worksheet below for you.
I look forward to seeing your hard work on Tapestry.
Repeating Patterns
Home Learning - English: Simple sentences
For your English home learning today, I would like you to use your story maps to help you write some simple sentences about the story of 'Mr Gumpy's Outing'.
An example of a simple sentence would be:
'Mr Gumpy went on a journey on his boat on the lake.'
I look forward to seeing your sentences on Tapestry.
Home Learning - Cosmic Yoga
For today's physical development home learning, I would like you to join in with the cosmic yoga video. As you go through the cosmic yoga video, you can listen to the story of Jack and the Beanstalk. I have attached the cosmic yoga video below.

Home Learning - Recapping Set 1 Sounds: i, n, p, g, o
For today's phonics, I would like you to recap writing, saying and using the first five sounds that we learnt. These were the:
i - down the insects body and dot for his head
n - down Knobby and over his net
p - down the plait, up and over the pirates face
g - around the girl's face, down her hair and give her a curl
o - all around the orange
I would like you to say the sound, then I would like to practise writing each sound. Once you have practised saying and writing the sounds, I would like you to write some words with the sounds in, 'ink', 'insect', 'not', 'net', ' pot', 'pan', 'girl', 'get', 'on' and 'off'.
Then I would like you to practise your Fred talk:

on - o - n
