Phonics - 'oo' sound
For today's sound we are going to be learning the 'oo' sound. First, I would like you to practice saying the sound and the rhyme, remember you need to say, 'oo' and then 'oo, look at a book'
Then you need to practice saying words with the 'oo' sound in, which are 'book', 'look', 'foot' and 'wood'.
Once you have practiced saying the words and sound, I would like you to practice writing the 'oo' sound.
Then I would like you to practice sounding out the words using Fred talk:
book - b - oo - k
look - l - oo - k
foot - f - oo - t
wood - w - oo - d
I look forward to seeing all your hard work on Tapestry with the 'oo' sound.

Staying Healthy
For today's home learning, I would like you to think about how you stay healthy. I would like you to discuss about different fruits and vegetables, that you may like to eat or those that you may have in your house. Depending on what fruit and vegetables you have in your house, I would like you to try some different fruit and vegetables and tell if you like them or not and why you think that.
I look forward to seeing pictures on Tapestry about different fruit and vegetables.
English - What woodland animal would you like to be?
For today's English home learning, I would like to think about the different woodland animals we met in the Percy the Park Keeper story yesterday and decide which animal you would like to be. I would like you to talk to your grown up about why you have chosen to be that animal.
I look forward to seeing what animals you have chosen to be and why on Tapestry.
Maths - Weather Chart
For today's maths learning, I would like you to create a weather chart for the next 7 days. I would like you to create a weather chart for the next 7 days. For today, I would like you to record what today's weather is by putting a picture and then I would like you to have a go at drawing pictures for what you think the weather will be for the next six days.
I look forward to seeing pictures of your weather charts on Tapestry.
