Good morning Year 2!
Today our travels take us to the Arctic ocean, home of the polar bears! Did you know that the Arctic is actually short for the Arctic ocean because much of it is ice covering the frozen sea. This huge frozen sea touches many different countries at its edges including Greenland, Canada, the United States and Russia. For many months of the year the Arctic lays in darkness where we can see the amazing northern lights and for a short time the sun never sets!
We hope you enjoy learning about this beautiful and fascinating place!
