Maths - Number bonds to 5

For your maths home learning today, I would like you to practice your number bonds to 5. This means looking at which numbers put together make 5. I would like to think of all the different numbers bonds you can and write them down and take a picture of them, so I can see all the hard work you have been doing at home by putting them on Tapestry.

An example of one of the number bonds to 5, would be 1 + 4 = 5. For a challenge, I would like you to draw the different combinations that you can come up with to make the number 5.

I look forward to seeing all your hard work on Tapestry.

English - Writing CVC words

For your English home learning today, I would like you to practice writing some of your CVC words, using all the sounds we have already learnt. I have inserted some pictures below of some different items and objects. I would like you to write the names of the different items and objects and take a picture to put onto Tapestry.

I look forward to seeing all your hard work on Tapestry.

Creating a home for a squirrel

Good morning, this term's topic was going to be all about Autumn and looking at different autumnal things and the topic is called 'Why do Squirrels Hide their Nuts?'

For today, I would like you to have a go at creating a home for the squirrels to live in. You can use whatever materials and items to create your squirrel home. It could be made using recycled materials, such as cardboard and plastic cartoons or egg cartoons. Don't forget to make your squirrel home bring and colorful, so that the squirrels would want to go and live in there.

I look forward to seeing pictures of your squirrel home on Tapestry.
