Maths - Counting to 9 and 10

For your home learning today, I would like you to practise counting to 9 and 10. First of all, I would like you to practise counting 9 and 10 on your fingers and then I would like to practise writing the numbers 9 and 10. Then, I would like you to create small groups of 9 and 10 with the different objects and items in your house. Finally, I would like to work out all the different ways to make 9 and 10, and write them as number sentences.

For example:

5 + 5 = 10
2 + 7 = 9

I look forward to seeing all your hard work on Tapestry.

English - What do the characters say?

For today's English home learning, I would like you to pretend to take on the different roles of the different characters in the Percy the Park Keeper story. I would like to think about what each character would say and write it in the speech bubble. The sheet is attached below and you can either copy what is on the sheet or you can print the sheet out and write the speech on to the bubbles.

I look forward to seeing all your hard work on Tapestry.
