Using your plan, you are going to write the FIRST part of your diary entry recounting an evacuation. Remember to include emotions, this was a difficult time but try to include a variety of feelings rather than scared, sad, worried - if you can, find some positives... 

 

Only focus on these two sections of your diary:

 

Two days before you’re due to be evacuated.
How are you feeling? What is the atmosphere like at home?

 

The day before the evacuation.
What items have you chosen to take with you? How are the other members of your family behaving?
