At Unity Primary Academy, we pride ourselves on being a community hub at the heart of Greenstead. We work closely with local community groups and charities to support families to access various resources and build partnerships. Below are links to various community groups and resources that you may find useful. Please contact the school if you would like any further information.

  • Greenstead Library Greenstead Library is an excellent, free resource that all in the local community can access. They offer a variety of services including free internet access and baby and toddler groups.
  • St Andrew's Church We work closely with St Andrew's church to provide educational experiences and shared celebrations with our pupils. St Andrew's welcomes all members of the community.
  • Essex Child and Family Wellbeing Service Essex child and family wellbeing service are run by Virgin Care and Barnardos and provide classes, support workers and resources to support children and families of all ages. See their website for the huge range of health, SEND and general services they offer.
  • The Essex Uniform Exchange The Essex Uniform Exchange collects spare and unclaimed uniform from schools in Colchester to give out to anyone who needs it for free.
