Finance Assistant

Hours: 25 Hours per week, term time plus Inset days plus one week

Salary:  NJC Band 3 Point 6 to 11

(FTE £19,171 to £21,166)


Unity Primary Academy is seeking a motivated, passionate and committed individual who thrives on working in a busy environment to join our School Admin Team as Finance Assistant.

You will be responsible for all aspects of financial tasks, including processing orders and purchase invoices, raising supplier payments, sales ledger and posting income. You will work closely with the School Business Manager, and supervise one member of staff. 

The ideal candidate will be highly organised and efficient, and able to work to tight deadlines; with proven financial experience, strong IT skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel. Accuracy, integrity, attention to detail, flexibility and a positive attitude is essential. Experience of school software systems is desirable but full training will be given to the successful candidate.
